Bookings are subject to availability and payment confirmation.
To confirm a booking, the guest must complete the corresponding payment in accordance with the conditions defined for each property.
The rates for booking fees, security deposit, cleaning fee, and any other charges are those published, at any given time, on each property's page.
A security deposit is required at all properties to cover any damage caused to the property and/or the building. The deposit hold is placed at check-in when this is in person, or within the 48 hours prior to the start of the booking when check-in is express. This is a simple hold — no amount is charged to the guest — which will temporarily restrict access to those funds until the hold is released.
If no damage is found at the property during the stay, the security deposit will be released after check-out to the same credit card, within a maximum of 7 days.
If the property is not returned in the same condition in which it was received, the deposit will be retained until the verified damages are settled.
The booking will be subject to cancellation if the security deposit hold cannot be placed. It is therefore important that guests ensure their credit card is valid and has sufficient funds. If the hold cannot be placed, the guest will be notified by email or SMS and will have 12 hours to provide an alternative payment method.
All prices include VAT at the applicable legal rate.
Payment Options
Bookings can be paid by American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, UnionPay, or JCB credit card, or by bank transfer upon request.
Guests are also subject to any special rules indicated for each property.
Pre Check-in
Upon completion of the booking, the booking holder will receive an email and/or SMS from Magnaparábola, Unipessoal, Lda confirming the booking, with relevant information about the property and details of any additional services available, such as transfers or extra cleaning.
Guests will be asked to complete a Guest Registration Form, which is essential for preparing their stay.
The Guest Registration Form will include, in particular, the expected arrival time, the total number of guests — to ensure the appropriate bed linen and towels are provided — as well as the mandatory information required by the Immigration and Borders Service.
Guests must indicate the exact number of people on the Guest Registration Form. The number of guests present may not exceed the number stated in the booking. In the event of non-compliance, Magnaparábola, Unipessoal, Lda reserves the right to require the immediate departure of guests, with no entitlement to compensation or refund.
Magnaparábola, Unipessoal, Lda accepts no liability arising from incorrect or incomplete completion of the Guest Registration Form.
Any attempt to falsify the information provided will invalidate the Guest Registration Form and may result in the cancellation of the booking.
Cancellation Policy
Once a booking is confirmed, the following conditions apply in the event of cancellation:
Cancellation up to 8 days before check-in: the guest will be charged 50% of the total booking value.
Cancellation less than 8 days before check-in: the guest will be charged 100% of the total booking value.
In exceptional and well-documented cases, a change of stay dates may be authorised.
In the event of involuntary overbooking (simultaneous bookings for the same property due to a system error), Magnaparábola, Unipessoal, Lda will make every effort to relocate the guest to a property of equivalent category and quality at no additional cost. If no suitable alternative can be found, or if the guest does not accept the proposed solution, a full refund of all amounts paid will be issued. The guest may also be entitled to compensation under applicable consumer protection legislation.

Any changes to check-in or check-out times or dates must be confirmed in advance by Magnaparábola, Unipessoal, Lda. Late arrivals or departures without prior notice and confirmation will result in a charge equivalent to the nightly rate in force, deducted from the security deposit.
Should a locksmith service be required, the guest will be fully responsible for the costs charged by the service provider.
Magnaparábola, Unipessoal, Lda is not responsible for items left at the property after guests have checked out. Any belongings found may be returned upon request, with all associated costs being the responsibility of the guest.

Rubbish must be disposed of in the appropriate public bins. Leaving rubbish bags inside the property, by the door, or in the building's common areas is not permitted.
